Welcome! We’re glad you’re joining us for the launch of a site where you’ll find content written and selected by a group of friends to intentionally and authentically engage the world around us. By doing so we hope to encourage you to join us and do the same.
You’ll learn more about who makes up the Troika Press at the about page; for now we want to introduce what we’ll be doing, or the vision we have for our posts.
Francis Schaeffer presents some of our vision in a statement given in context of the redemption of mankind. He says, “Therefore, let us consider more fully what it means to be a whole man whose whole life is under the lordship of Christ.” That idea has struck a chord in our hearts and minds, and this site is an outgrowth of that. When one considers what it means to be a whole man under the lordship of Christ the realization of how much is still to be experienced and learned comes quickly. As we discovered this we asked ourselves, “how can we talk about things that matter in a way that matters?” The Troika Press is our attempt at examining, evaluating and answering that question. We have a variety of ideas and inspirations for our posts that will be developed along the way, though for now we’re just ready to launch!
