Update: The Ukraine Project

A few months ago, I posted to let our readers know about a Project that I have launched with some of my friends. You can read that initial post here.

I wanted to post a quick update to bring you all up to speed on what has happened, and what we’re planning for the future. Our initial goal was to raise $1,000 to allow an orphan named Alex to get prosthetic limbs. We reached this goal in just under a few weeks, and within just a couple of weeks of learning about new needs, money was contributed above and beyond those needs (nearly $1,000 more than was needed was raised).

You can read the more complete story with updates on our website. Be sure to check out our blog and campaign pages. For those who have prayed, or contributed, I thank you so much. It has been incredible to watch God work through His people on this project.

From here on out, you can stay up to date by checking our website, following us on Twitter, and “liking” our page on Facebook. If you have any questions, you can contact us at: theukraineproject@gmail.com.

We hope you all have a wonderful new year! The Troika team is getting together (from our respective states across the country!) with a group of some of our very dearest and best friends. We hope you have as much fun as we will (but I doubt that’s possible). Thanks for reading, and we’ll see you next year!
